Miller High Life and the Long Summer Slog of August

Standard

News from the Cocktail Front:
Last week’s B-PUCH #10 was quite stellar – check out the pics

– Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is moving along though I’m still looking for investors for the venture.  Strong returns plus an attractive R.O.I are the projections on the docket. Send me an email for more info!

So let’s keep this Chinatown Express Bus moving with The Brooklyn Pop-Up Cocktail Hour #11!

August is one of my favorite times of the year. The last grasps of summer are in constant ebb and flow. My hoodie collection longs for the cool breezes of Fall. And my love for Iced Tea keeps going and going and going until at least late September!

This week’s cocktail list can be described only as a bit…adventurous. I have a big big BIG love for the Cuba Libre. It is one of the perfect summer drinks. So I batched up a Habanero Lime Syrup and tossed White Rum and Mexican Coca Cola into the mix with grand results.

AND…Bourbon is the only way to survive the slog of a NYC summer. I stopped on by my local tea shop – PS Coffee Tea & Spices – and found a lovely Black Tea Coconut Blend and whipped up a whopper of a cocktail topped with the old guard of American brewskis – Miller High Life.

Soooo…Next Friday – August 19th – join me and the Faithful at Gina Pollock’s and Joanna Newman’s Billyburg roofdeck for night of cocktail wonderments —
The Brooklyn Pop-Up Cocktail Hour #11!
